Wildlife Refuge Auto Tour

The Wildlife Refuge is open year round, but some things vary during different times of the year. The 4.2 mile auto route & observation blind is open Year Round, but from October through April you must otherwise remain in your car. May 1st through September 30th a 1.5 mile the Kiwa hiking trail as well as the auto tour route are open to pedestrians. Pets, horses, bicycles and jogging or running are always prohibited.

	On entry to the Refuge, you will find a lean to where you will pay your entrance fee. As you begin your Auto Tour, there is a sign that will let you know what time the gate will close that day. Allow at least 30 minutes to get through the Wildlife Refuge.
